Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Quiz Bowl is an invitational event that occurs at the annual Texas FFA Convention.
The purpose of this is to encourage student to master the objectives set forth in the Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Curriculum
 Students shall be able to correctly respond to questions derived from all the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (Chapter 130 Subchapter A) listed for Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.


EVENT RULES  - AFNR JUNIOR
A. One team per chapter.
B. Preliminary rounds may be conducted off sites. Finals and Semifinals will be held at the State FFA Convention site
C. Each team must have four 8 th or 9th grades that recently completed the Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources and are paid FFA members.
D. Official FFA dress is required.
E. The source of the questions will be the current adopted textbooks for the class and are notated in the reference section.
F. Questions will be developed from these sources. No test bank will be available.

EVENT RULES - SENIOR
 A. One team per chapter.
B. Preliminary rounds may be conducted off sites. Finals and Semifinals will be held at the State FFA Convention site
C. Each team must have four 10-12th graders. and are paid FFA members.
D. Official FFA dress is required.
E. The source of the questions will be the current adopted textbooks for the class and are notated in the reference section.
F. Questions will be developed from these sources. No test bank will be available.
