Leadership Development Events LDE's focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classrooms.

All LDE events have elimination rounds at the district and area before the state level competition. 

Gulf Coast District LDEs will take place at  La Porte High School Wednesday, November 8th, 2023.

Area III LDEs will take place at Berry Center November 15th, 2023 for those teams that qualified.

State LDEs will take place at Sam Houston State University December Friday 1st - Saturday 2nd, 2023 for those teams that qualified.
